History
The Zeeb are the producers of the galaxy, bottom-line. Raised with a hard work ethic, relentless hours of work imposed by a feudal aristocracy, and an innate mechanical genius, the Zeeb can out-produce any other species in Space. Unfortunately, the Zeeb lack any strong interest in government, or, for that matter, any large scale organization (anything which has regulations and/or authority). They tend to have a rather cowardly outlook toward warfare.
A great tragedy for the Zeeb people was the loss of one of their colonies in an "incident" with the Toags. After "certain Zeeb business interests" "deficit-spent" on a loan from the Toags, the Toags called in the debt. The Zeeb lacked credits or collateral, so the Toags claimed the colony as compensation. The greedy Toags have since started renting the planet back to the Zeeb on an "easy payment, low interest" schedule. Apparently they have no plans to allow the Zeeb to "own" their own system again.
The Zeeb have a love of machinery and a natural ability to take a perfectly working machine and improve its design. These traits have helped formed the Zeeb into an industrialist civilization. The Zeeb system was once home to two forested and water-filled planets brimming with life. Through over-industrialization, the system has been changed into a smog-filled and polluted mining operation, capable of out-producing any other system in the galaxy.

Although a peaceful species, the Zeeb unique ship can be described as a mobile fortress. Apart from its powerful hull, shields and weapons, after a round of battle, ships within the fleet can retreat into repair docks for a quick repair job before returning to battle for the next engagement round. To protect the quick repair docks, Overseers have a great deal of hull, which slows them down significantly.
