Map Screen

Minimap: The Minimap shows you all the planets within your alliance and all the planets you have revealed around your alliance. Clicking on the minimap will take you to that area on your main map. The minimap is in the bottom right corner of the screen. The white box shows the area of the map you are currently looking at.

Drop Down Planet Menu: You can find individual planets in this. Simply find the planet you are looking for and the menu will take you to it. The "Find" button next to it allows you to type in a planet number when you click on it.

Colors: The planets on the map come in 6 main colors. Blue=You. Green {3 shades}= Your allies. Yellow=Neutral {Players you haven't attacked or who haven't attacked you. Orange=Enemy {Players you have attacked or who have attacked you. Red=Planets that have attacks going on. White=Players you have a NAP {Non agression pact} with.

Scroller: Located in the bottom left of the map allows you to scroll around the map instead of clicking on the minimap.

The planets are shown on the main part of the map with the number of the player who owns them. You can also see 3 types of icon. The first is a spanner and that tells you there is a ship building on the planet. It will also have the build time next to it. The next is an arrow which signifies buildings building on the planet. This also has build time next to it. The 3rd is a ship icon. Blue signifies your ships, green, your allies and red signifies enemy ships. The number on the right is arriving ships and the number on the left is ships on the planet.

When you click on a planet of your own you get 2 menus. 1 in the bottom right and 1 in the bottom left. You also get a table showing you the planet stats.

Planet Stats table: This shows planet name, owner species, population, hab and ore concentration. It also shows a breakdown of how many of what type of building there is and how much shield power the planet has on it, as well as a comparison of what makes the hab. It also tells you "Wormhole Links" which refers to the planets you should see on colonisation of your planet.

Clicking on an ally planet will also tell you leader, empire and alliance names, as well as having the hab the planet is for you. It will not give you a building breakdown.

Clicking on an enemy, neutral or napped planet tells you the minimum details. These are, planet name, leader, empire and alliance names, species, and status {Neutral, enemy or NAP).

On every planet that has incoming ships the stats table will tell you which fleets they are, who owns them and how many ticks till they arrive.

Right menu: On your own planets the menu shows: Planet info, Starships, Buildings and has a link to return to the map. On other planets it will not show the buildings link. The menu options will be explained later in this section. This menu, will also show a "battle" link when there are enemy ships on the planet or when your ships are on an enemy planet.

Left menu: Contains Upkeep, Rename and Colonise links. On other planets there is no left menu.

The other clickable thing on the map is the starships themselves. This will allow you to move ships not engaged in battle.
