Account Creation

To play Space: Glory Through Conquest, you must first create a game account to provide you access to the game area.

Select the "Join" option on the front page, or go to http://space.coldfirestudios.com/signup/index.html to begin!

When you're there, you'll be asked for some info. Follow these steps to create a new account.

Login Name: Account name, doesn't appear ingame.
Password: You'll need this to access your account, type it here and in "Confirm". Be sure they're the same!
Email: Must be valid, or you won't be able to validate your account or receive notifications about galaxies you're playing. Confirm it in the space below.

Secret question: You'll be asked this when you lose your password, when using babysitting options (don't worry, you'll understand if you read all this manual), or to change your e-mail address.
Secret answer: The answer you need to give when asked. Confirm below.

Both of these are important!
If you want to change them after the account is created, you'll need to create a new one, with a different e-mail address. So think carefully how do you want to be known in Space Universe!

Leader name: This will be the ruler of the empire, that's it, YOU! (or something as funny as you want)
Empire name: With your Leader name, makes something to put fear in your enemies, or to make them laugh so you don't get killed ;)

This section is for internal and statistical use for ColdFire Studios, we won't share info with anyone. Note that you must be over 13 years old to play.

As stated, you don't need to fill these fields, but if you don't you won't be able to win prizes when CFS organizes tournaments, for example.
If you're from outside the USA or Canada, select "none" (bottom) at "State" and look for your country where asked.
You can write down your Postal code if you don't use Zip ones

And finally, accept conditions (after reading license agreement of course) and hit "Request Account" to go on with signup.
REMEMBER you have to be over 13 years old to play!

After sending the form, you'll get this confirmation message, of course it will show your Leader-Empire names combination, this one is fake (or not... who knows).
Click on "Click here" and it will send you to the main page.

Now you'll have to login to the game, either Standard or DM (read the whole manual to learn differences).

Check your e-mail, there you'll find the code you need to enter here.

That's it! You are now in the Galaxy Entry screen, where you can choose your Race and enter in a new game, in a galaxy that is sure already filling.
